Frequently asked questions

What are at-home private swim lessons?

At-home private swim lessons are swimming lessons that are conducted in the comfort and privacy of your own home pool. The lessons are typically taught by a certified swimming instructor who will work with you or your child one-on-one to improve your swimming skills.

Who can take at-home private swim lessons?

Anyone can take at-home private swim lessons, regardless of age or skill level. Children, adults, and seniors can all benefit from private swim lessons.

What are the benefits of home private swimming lessons?

At-home private swim lessons offer several benefits, including personalized attention, a comfortable and familiar environment, and convenience. Because the lessons are one-on-one, the instructor can tailor the lessons to each student's specific needs and goals, which can lead to faster progress and results.

How long are the lessons?

The length of the lessons can vary depending on the instructor and the needs of the student. Typically, lessons are 30, 45, and 60 minutes long. We give you one of three options to choose.

What should I wear for the lessons?

Students should wear comfortable, appropriate swimwear that allows for easy movement in the water. Goggles are highly recommended but not required.

Do I need to have a pool?

Yes, you will need to have a pool at your home for the lessons. If you don't have a pool, you may be able to find a local public pool or community center that offers private swim lessons. Some of our instructors may also have pools available if need be.

Do you have other questions that need to be answered?
